WHO IS UNBOTHERED DIARY?
My name is Morgan Guerra and I am a Fashion Journalist based in New York City currently obtaining a degree in Advertising and Marketing Communications at the Fashion Institute of Technology. I am the founder and creative director of Unbothered Diary, a writing platform for me to babble and hopefule soon for many more to join.
Finding a place to put my writing feels impossible, i’m either screaming into a void or sending a PDF to someone who didnt even know I wrote until that moment. While a blog is still screaming into a void, at least its my void.
WHY “UNBOTHERED”?
Often times when a woman shows interest in a particular subject, she forfeits all rights to being “chill and laid back”. But why on earth would that be the case?
We all have interests, and they are all important. You can have a strong view on the cultural impact Zayn leaving one direction had and still be chill. You can treat buying concert tickets like an Olympic sport and still be laid back. You can go on a hour long rant on how the way fashion trends are a direct reflection on the economy and still be unbothered.
Passionate does not equate to crazy.
And unbothered diary is here to give a space for that passion…
and whatever else I have to get off my opinionated chest.
WHAT IS THE FUTURE FOR UNBOTHERED DIARY?
One day I hope this to be a platform for young writers to speak their piece and not feel unwanted because their niche isn’t globally marketable. But for now its a one man band until further notice.
